It is one of 25 deepest lakes in the world, having a depth of up to 325 meters. Short description: This trip will give you a chance to see the beautiful landscapes of Siberia and especially the Altai Mountains region, undisturbed by human activities. You will cross all altitudinal ecozones from tundra to steppe and Central Asian semi-desert in the Altai mountainous region (near the Mongolian frontier). This trip covers a distance of more than 2000 km in three main regions of West and South Siberia.
In the excursion, you will get the chance to see spectacular natural areas, each dramatically different from the other! You will see the Ob river at its widest point (between 30 to 40 km wide, comparable to the Amazon), we will cross the legendary continental steppes, we will reach the summits of the Golden Mountains; Seminsky Pass (1800m), Chike Taman Pass (1295m) and there is a chance to experience great trekking up to the top of the Tobojok Mountain (3200m)!
Our hiking trips will also bring you to the border of Mongolia, where you will be able to feel the nomads' life in the desert near Chagan-Uzn (often called the northern brother of Gobi).
